Samsung Smart TVs running Tizen need a compatible TV app. Android APK and Downloader instructions do not provide a native Tizen installation.
Check the model and app
- Find your TV model and software information in its settings.
- Check the TV app store for apps available in your region.
- Ask support to confirm the exact compatible app and publisher for your model.
- Install the confirmed app and follow its activation process.
- Enter the subscription connection details using the format supported by that player.
Do not use an Android APK on Tizen
A Sky Glass branded Android download is not a Tizen installer. Samsung documents that 2016 and later Samsung Smart TVs run Tizen applications only. See Samsung application support information.
Alternative: an external streaming device
If support recommends a compatible Fire TV or Android TV device, connect it through HDMI and follow that device setup guide. Confirm compatibility before buying hardware or an app licence.
