Confirm the supported tvOS app
Before installing or paying for a player, ask support for its exact App Store link, publisher, supported tvOS version and connection method. Do not select an unrelated app based only on a similar name.
Install and activate the confirmed app
- Open the App Store on your Apple TV.
- Find the app using the confirmed listing and check the publisher.
- Review device requirements and any app licence charge.
- Install and open the player.
- Follow its activation instructions and use the connection details supplied for your subscription.
If the app is missing or sign-in fails
App availability can depend on your device, tvOS version and region. Send support your Apple TV model, app name and error message. Android APK files and Downloader codes are not tvOS installation methods.
